Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy describes the terms under which refunds or cancellations may be issued for payments made on ruqyah.app.

1. What you're paying for

• Single query: ₹5 — grants 1 additional scholar-query credit.
• Bundle: ₹25 — grants 5 scholar-query credits.
• Your first query is always free and does not require any payment.

2. Digital service — no physical delivery

All purchases on Ruqyah are digital credits, delivered instantly to your account. There is no shipping, physical product, or waiting time involved.

3. When you're eligible for a refund

• Duplicate payment: if you were charged twice for the same order, we will refund the extra amount within 7 business days.
• Payment succeeded but credits not delivered: if your bank/Razorpay confirms the payment but no credits were added to your account, contact us within 7 days and we will either add the credits manually or refund you.
• Unused credits after account deletion: if you request account deletion within 7 days of purchase, we will refund unused credits pro rata.

4. When refunds are not available

• Credits that have already been used (a question was submitted).
• Dissatisfaction with the scholarly answer — scholars provide their best interpretation of Islamic sources; disagreement is not grounds for refund.
• Payments older than 7 days from the date of transaction.

5. How to request a refund

Email calmruqyah@gmail.com with:

• Your registered email address
• Razorpay Payment ID or Order ID
• Amount and reason for refund

We will respond within 48 hours and, if approved, initiate the refund via Razorpay. Refunds typically credit back to the original payment method within 5–7 business days.

6. Cancellation

Since credits are delivered instantly, there is no separate cancellation window — refund eligibility is defined above. To close your account, email us any time.
