Terms of Service

Last updated: February 2026

By accessing or using Ruqyah (the "Service", available at ruqyah.app), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. About the service

Ruqyah is a digital platform providing authentic Islamic healing content — Quranic recitations, adhkar, categorized remedies, prophetic medicine references and a paid Ask-a-Scholar feature. Content is drawn from the Quran, authentic hadith and recognized Islamic scholarship.

2. Accounts

  • You may create an account using email/password or Google Sign-In.
  • You are responsible for keeping your credentials safe.
  • You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.
  • You agree to provide accurate, current information.

3. Ask a Scholar — paid feature

  • The first query submitted per account is free.
  • Subsequent queries cost ₹5 per query, or a bundle of 5 queries for ₹25.
  • All payments are processed by Razorpay Software Private Limited. We do not store your card or banking details.
  • Credits, once purchased, are non-transferable and tied to your account.
  • Scholarly answers reflect the opinion of the responding scholar and are not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, legal or financial advice.

4. Not medical advice

Ruqyah content is spiritual in nature. Ruqyah, prophetic medicine, adhkar and scholarly answers are not substitutes for qualified medical care. Always consult a licensed physician for any medical condition.

5. Acceptable use

  • Do not misuse the Service, attempt to disrupt it, or use it for any unlawful purpose.
  • Do not use the Service to spread misinformation, hate speech or content contrary to Islamic ethics.
  • Do not scrape, reproduce or redistribute paid Ask-a-Scholar answers without permission.

6. Content ownership

Quranic verses and authentic hadith are the eternal property of Allah's revelation and are freely shareable. The compilation, translation notes, audio hosting, UI design and Ask-a-Scholar answers on Ruqyah are the property of Ruqyah.

7. Limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ruqyah shall not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from use of the Service.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, without refund of unused credits.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
